J.R. is an engineer, amateur woodworker and loves to know how things work. When traveling he is as interested in billboards and infrastructure as he is in the food and culture. He has travelled to ancient sites in Israel, Greece, Turkey and Egypt and loves to integrate his experiences in his teaching of college students at church. He has lived a full life with his wife and 2 grown children, but is always looking forward to the next adventure.
